Here's how you draw: barde

Step 1: Basic Shape of the Body
Draw a large rectangle for the center part of the bard's body. Add another rectangle for the belt area and a smaller circle on top for the bard's head.

Step 2: Outline the Hat, Facial Features, and Instrument
Hat: On top of the head circle, draw a curvy, tall triangle to create the bard's hat.
Face: Inside the head circle, sketch two small dots for eyes, a line for the mouth, and a small triangle for a nose.
Instrument: Extend two long, narrow rectangles from the bard's body for the arms and a simple, oval shape between them for a lute.

Step 3: Add Clothing Details and Shoes
Clothing: Add flowing shapes around the body rectangle to illustrate a medieval tunic and long sleeves.
Shoes: Sketch two small oval shapes at the base of the body for the shoes.

Step 4: Detailing the Instrument and Hat
Lute: Draw detail lines across the lute’s body to represent strings.
Hat: Add a curved feather shape on the bard’s hat for flair.

Step 5: Add Finishing Details
Accentuate the clothing with simple patterns like lines and dots.
Highlight the lute strings by shading the spaces between.
Add simple shadows under the bard's shoes for grounding.

Step 6: Final Touches
Add musical notes around the bard to show he is playing music.
Add highlights on the bard’s eyes for expression.
Add small, curved lines around the arms and lute to show motion.
